Musical Director: Graham Wili

Graham is an experienced conductor, teacher and performer, and has taken choirs from humble beginnings to singing throughout Europe and performing on the London stage. He is passionate about making music accessible to everyone, and his energy and expertise ensure that singing together is both fun and educational, with members benefiting from his expert vocal tuition.  

In demand as a conductor both nationally and internationally, Graham is Musical Director of a number of choirs based in the South East of England, and the Principal Conductor of the English Philharmonia and its sister orchestra, the London Handel Baroque Orchestra. Until 2020, he conducted several concerts each year in Moscow with the State Symphony New Russia Orchestra and the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, including a performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in period dress!

Among several performances in the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, Graham conducted Chris Williams’ Songs of the Coromandel Coast (a world premiere) and Tsunami Requiem in a concert recorded live by Omnibus Classics. Other performances there include the Verdi Requiem and Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. His English Philharmonia Chamber Choir recording of carols by Chris Williams, Nowell! Nowell! received great critical acclaim, including a four-star review from BBC Music magazine.

A sought-after vocal coach, Graham has worked with the National Youth Choir of Wales for many years and led choral workshops for the Association of British Choral Directors. As a tenor, Graham has sung with European Voices, Collegium Musicum 90, the Choir of the Age of Enlightenment, and with both Garsington and Grange Park Opera.
